We've got the car back!

 Our car has been repaired and looks s good as new.  It only had 20 miles charge left in it though so it's sitting on the drive getting a quick charge before I have to pick up the kids who are at a summer club. 

Poor Arthur

 Arthur keeps getting holes in his school jumper and April is fed up repairing it so has gone full 70s/80s university lecturer mode and sewed on leather patches.  Poor kid!

It's alive!

The juke box is finally operational again.  It's been out of action for around 6 weeks. It only cost £250 in the end so not the end of the world.  I think it's been updated to windows 10 so that might help.

Hard drive fixed

 The hard drive of our jukebox developed a fault so had to be sent away and get fixed.  I just need to pay (£258) and they'll send it over.  Luckily they managed to save the music stored on it.  Phew. I do not fancy having to sort that out again!

Coat relined

 I'm finally getting my old raincoat repaired and relined.  I think i've had it for 22 years!  Don't know how much it will cost yet but we will see.

Packed and ready to go

What on earth am I going to do? Its getting shipped off to Germany. They should be sending a replacement within 5-8 days.

Useless twat

I had to get my phone repaired again today.  Looks like after the glass repair I had done a month ago on my phone camera also introduced some dust (after the fix).  So i've now had the whole camera replaced.  It all looks good but am annoyed.

I wish I had the non British aggressive twat gene that meant I could argue with a random shop worker about getting it done for free as am sure it was still in warranty.

£50 on top of the £20 I spent earlier.  Could be worse, I could have dropped my tablet in the bath on Sunday.  Oh year, I did that too.  What a twat!

At least it means my surface pro gets to see more daylight.  Other than watching stuff in the bath (where I will never take it), and it being a fair bit heavier I think I will survive.

In fairness, my tablet is 3 years old now and has had a couple of incidents where i've dropped it and cracked its screen so it's served me well.

Time to move forward.
