Lazy gits

Lloyd's maintenance have stuck on these plastic buttons to stop lazy brokers using the lifts to go up and down to the first floor.

Although the first floor is actually double hight it is frustrating when coming all the way down from the 9th to stop off at the 1st when the lazy git can just as easily let gravity do the work for them and walk down the stairs themselves.

It's especially bad at the moment as we're down 1 set of lifts (out of 3 main ones) as it getting referbed.

Death list

We popped into our not so local on Thursday night and I got roped into placing a bet on wether one of the older locals would see out the year.

This was especially funny as the pot chap was in on the joke. Not sure how he could collect his winnings.

April's latest gig

April played at their regular venue on Tuesday.

The sun, Covent Garden.

Just before that she had a radio spot on 6 music.

Those that haven’t heard it:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04j6bxb    (1:41:30) onwards

Good night.

And the numb nut award goes to

Me.

I was riding home on Wednesday as I had some friends coming over to my pub for the night and forgot to pick up the bag I'd brought home from the train.

Doh!

It had my favorite jeans in it. Two work shirts, some smelly socks and my only pair of non work shoes. I did have a spare pair but one of them got lost in the move. Now I either have to where stinky sandals out my work shoes.

Or I could go and buy a new pair.

Fingers crossed the lost and property at the station has them.

First win of the season

We won 31-0 on Saturday against Leigh 2nds. A good game but the ref hampered it a bit. We could have had a few more points if the decisions went the other way.  I may have even scored...

Great gig last Friday from Hayseed Dixie. Great music, great banter.

First game of the season

And a loss. Boo! Against Tunbridge Wells too. Bloody double boo.

Downing pints

I had to down my first pint in ages on Saturday. Urgh. Guinness with a shot of Tia Maria in it.  Lovely. I beat the guy from the other team though.

It's my own fault though. When asked the question on whether I'm driving or not. Always answer no.

Poppet strikes again

Poppet caught another animal. This time a big fat frog. Yuk! Why's she doing it now? She hasn't hunted for 2 or 3 years, now 3 in the space of a week.

At least this means she's leaving the house, perhaps we can remove the litter tray soon.

Delorean at the Audi garage

I'm getting a free health check on the Audi at the new Audi garage in Tunbridge Wells. It's going to take a while so watching Saturday kitchen and eating a croissant.

I wonder if they'll let me test drive a few of the fancy cats whilst I wait. Delorean or R8 spyder?

Bloody cat

Poppet has started bringing in mice again. Bloody thing. I managed to catch a live one on Monday night, then picked up a twitching one last night.

Just been nagged into getting a belated birthday cake for the team. Bloody expensive!
