It's the last day of half term for the kids so April has the day off. We're going to head into London later to go and visit the London Transport Museum (?) so I made us pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for breakfast.

I had some peppered kippers that needed eating so had them for breakfast this morning. A bit too much for me so the animals had my left overs.

Working from the cafe

I fancied a change this morning so thought i'd do an hour in the cafe this morning.

I was supposed to meet April there after the gym yesterday but we had to take Arthur out of school to get checked out by a pharmacist. He's had a bit of a gammy eye and the school nurse thought it might be contagious conjunctivitis. Luckily it wasn't so just needs eye drops and was straight back to school, Nice try suckers!

Posh bacon rolls

My rugby club does posh bacon rolls, this weekend I made some myself and took it to the next level.

Streaky unsmoked bacon under the grill with cranberry sauce and brie.

I made it again on Sunday with added honey. Delicious!

Egg pancake

I was making myself an omelette this morning and Arthur said he was hungry so I made him one too. Although I had to call it an egg pancake before he would try it.
