Present for Arthur

 Many of the school kids chipped in for one big present for Arthur and they got him this.  A play mobile pirate ship!

Last night's game

 We completed the latest chapter in the campaign and are now level 14.

Dropping off a magnum of champagne to my friend Andrew who house / dog and cat sat for us whilst we were away.

Present for me

 When I take Arthur to do the shopping I usually let him choose a hot wheels car as a thank you for helping me.  This time I spotted these!  I deserve a present too!

Best birthday present

 I managed to escape to the pub again on Sunday to watch the Utd vs Liverpool game.  That was a great birthday present! 0-3!

Main present

 Florence's main present was a new big bike.  She loved it.  She spent the first hour going up and down our small courtyard.

To do a Leo Sayer

 April starts her belated wine tasting course today (Mondays for 3 weeks) so this morning I taught Florence the term Leo Sayer.  I'm very jealous.

Octowine stand arrived too

 April starts her delayed wine course next week so bought her an octopus wine stand as a present (she was supposed to get it on Sunday first for Mother's day, but Florence spoiled the surprise), she was supposed to do this once a week in January but had to get postponed due to the latest lockdown.  It's at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells where we were married.  I imagine it'll be in the same room.

Not sure how much use it will get as open bottles of wine don't last long in house Clark...

And something for April

I collected my order of 24 bottles of wine on Saturday and they gave me a free bottle of 0% beer.

I only need the eyes!

I bought two plastic flamingos to go in my friend's back garden as they will match their lovely pink umbrella. Here's the conversation I had with the ebay seller when one of them turned up without eyes.

Homeandgardenproductsuk: We are very sorry and will resend you some more. Please dispose of the faulty one.

stuartrclark79: I only need the eyes!

Homeandgardenproductsuk :We do not have any spare eyes to send to you so the only option we could do was send new flamingos.

stuartrclark79: You don’t need to send me extra flamingos. Two is enough.

Christmas purchase

I've ordered a new Metallica bauble for the Christmas tree this morning. Hopefully it'll turn up before Christmas.

I've no idea what to actually get as my main present though.  Stumped.

Christmas has arrived early

Our new dining table and chairs arrived last Thursday. It is rather big.

It's the last big spend on the house this year, but it is our Christmas present to ourselves.

Happy 40th

It's a friend's 40th birthday today and we're going out for a curry later. April suggested we buy him a present.

Christmas has come early

Present for Stu and April

Bluetooth sound bar for the kitchen. We can control it via our phones and tablets that have access to all 75gb of our music via WiFi.

No fair

After all the trouble with postage I also had trouble with Amazon. They were supposed to deliver a present for April and my brother on the 12th. It hadn't arrived by Friday so I checked around the house, and popped into the local depot to see if they had it. Nope.

I had to get something for Steve so ended up buying him extra. Surprise, surprise. His parcel has just turned up!  Git!
