Well that was well excecuted

Ebay novice alert.

I'm sure I could have found a cheaper delivery service, but by using the Royal Mail I basically spent double on the postage that I intended. Doh!

Game sale

£125 for the first 4 I sold on Ebay, now to get rid of these.  At most i've played them twice, there's a least a couple there that I have never played.

Now to post them and hope i've charged the correct amount.

Sale of the century

To clear space for the new arrival, i've decided to sell some board games that I will never play again.

I've never sold anything on Ebay before so have just done 4 to begin with and will see what happens.  I think there are another 8 that I will put up this weekend.

New tablet

After finally breaking my last tablet a 6 months+ ago (water damage, cracked screen), and having a very nice laptop I thought I didn't really need to replace my tablet. However, in reality I don't dare use the laptop in the bath or just throw it in a bag and carry it around with me. It's still fairly heavy and far too expensive to abuse.

I've been looking at replacing it with a new one but couldn't justify spending a lot of money on a decent one so have just put up with not having it. I finally cracked last week when I saw the same one I had for sale on e-bay for $130 delivered.

I'm using it now to post this and am very happy with it. This one also has the capability to add a sim card for roaming data.

I only need the eyes!

I bought two plastic flamingos to go in my friend's back garden as they will match their lovely pink umbrella. Here's the conversation I had with the ebay seller when one of them turned up without eyes.
stuartrclark79: Hi, one of the flamingos was missing it's eyes. Do you have any spare???
Homeandgardenproductsuk: We are very sorry and will resend you some more. Please dispose of the faulty one.
stuartrclark79: I only need the eyes!
Homeandgardenproductsuk :We do not have any spare eyes to send to you so the only option we could do was send new flamingos.
stuartrclark79: You don’t need to send me extra flamingos. Two is enough.

Anyone for a 3 legged race?

My 3 legged race ties have arrived.  The Tonbridge Jamboree will be amazing.

I think that's about all i'm buying for the event.

So far I have...

  • 3 legged race ties
  • Tug of war rope
  • Horseshoes
  • A stopwatch
  • A big measuring tape
  • A couple of whistles
  • Medals
We already have wellies, a rounders bat and ball, and already have a set of boules.  I think that will do.

I'm holding a Super Bowl party in the new year so thought I should get a few props for the event.

EBay is great

One of my eBay purchases has turned up.  I think I'll take it for a test drive.

More decorations for the bar

Unfortunately they arrived a week late.  They were due to arrive the week before that.  Shame.

New game's arrived

My new game's arrived, although shortly after bidding on eBay I received an email from a games company selling the same game for cheaper when delivered. Doh!

My new gluggle jug

We went to Hix a couple of weeks ago and I really liked the water jug we had on our table.

When we got home a googled fish jug and it turns out they're quite popular. £10 later on eBay I'd procured my very own.

They're called gluggle jugs as they make a satisfying gurgle every time they're used.

Upgrade

When I left Gallagher my team got me a set of cufflinks like the set on the right, but I lost one of them. After a year or so of looking on eBay I found the same set on eBay for £39. They're worth £150 new. Result.

How long before this goes on ebay?

And how much will it go for?

Still works, quite a nice action.

Not a bad first effort

I've just posed 7 xbox 360 games to various people around the UK

Total Sale Price:  £57.74 but postage comes out of that ( but I made £5 from the postage), that leaves me with roughly £54 so I bought myself a nice Mont Blanc pen.  Fingers crossed it's nice although that'll be going back on ebay!

What stumped me however was the fact that nobody put in an offer for my Showtime DVD staring Eddie Murphy and Robert De Niro, 5.4 on IMdb may explain things.  At least I think it's funny...

Selling some stuff

Finally getting round to getting rid of a few dvds and games. I don't play them so thought I may as well get a little cash for them rather than just gathering dust on a shelf.

My first hand full have a deadline tonight, a load of watchers and a few bids, 3 and a bit hours to go. It's quite exciting.

Not sure if it's worth the effort if I don't get more than a couple of quid each though. Charity shop might be the next place to hand them too as once i've got round to posting them I can't really see it being worth it.

Doh. Does anyone want to buy an MP3 player?

I tried to sell my MP3 player on ebay so asked April to bid £30 for it. Guess who won? April...

Anyone want to buy my 4gb Samsung mp3 player. It plays movies too so does that make it mp4???

I'm open to offers.

Finally using ebay

I've been looking round for various bits and pieces for the house etc. and stumbled on eBay. I've never really been that bothered by the idea of it but it's strangely appealing.

I've been outbid on my first thing but fingers crossed i'll get the other two bits i'm going for.
