Doh, no trains again!
By the looks of it I won't be able to make it into work again tomorrow. Or at least according to national rail there will be no trains till 12. Not much point after that so will work from home.

Here's the prep off our two hams. Mine was a ginger ham, April's 5 spice. Adrian's plain but stuffed with sausage meat. Mine came 3rd, April's 2nd and Adrian's 1st, although his did look suspiciously shop bought...
Chipping Sodbury
I visited Ross with Shaheen last weekend. It was good fun to see him as I hadn't for over 6 months. He's still goofy.
We shouldn't be trusted with fireworks
Christmas day fireworks round the McCrows. This was the final load but the first single firework we tried fired straight at the fence and was lodged in it till it went out. Oops.

We have a new chap in my team called Jatendra, he's asked in an e-mail to be called Jett. I've replied with yes, but only if I can be called The Dude... he's not replied yet.
What a shame
All of our trains are dead this morning so can't get into work. Yeah. We're only in for a half day anyway as it's Christmas eve so having to travel for 2 hours to do 3.5 hours work wouldn't have been fun. Now to see if I can get the working from home programme to work.

Total recall
I spotted that the boots own brand cough remedy I have been using over the past week is subject to a product recall. Something's wrong with the safety cap. I've still got a bit left so will wait till my cough had cleared up or the bottle nearly finished before taking it back and claiming a full refund.
That's if I don't choke first.
Phew
I was going to be £1,575 short this month as my current company was supposed to take over my season ticket loan from my previous company. This didn't happen so my previous company deducted £1,575 from my final pay cheque. Ouch! Luckily my new company had part paid me for this month so should be fine but still I would certainly miss that from my account especially before Christmas.
I've just got back from HR and they're going to transfer it over shortly then deduct it from my next 3 pay cheques. Phew!
