The return of zombie arm

This was the state of my shoulder / arm on Saturday morning.  Nice and green / yellow.  All going well, I went rugby training witht he kids yesterday morning in the mud and rain.  Didn't do much, other than stand around and get wet though.  Bit by bit, i'm getting better.  I'm booked to get the stitches out of my bicep on Wednesday now.  And seeing the surgeon a week today.  I need to sort out a physiotherapist this week but waiting to hear ack from theb insurer first as pretty sure they'll pay for it.

Another dog walk

I took the kids for a walk along the sea front and found my zombie apocalypse base.  It's always a good idea to have an escape plan

New fortress idea

I used to think the safest place to be during a zombie apocalypse in Tonbridge was the castle.

I've changed my mind, it's the BT building just off the high street.  I don't know what they've got in there but it must be worth protecting.

Chasing zombies in her sleep

April refuses to watch the Walking Dead so Arwen drew the short straw and has to watch it when everyone else has gone to bed.

Walking Dead time. End of season tonight

2 episodes of the walking dead to rewatch

It was certainly hard at times, especially the first episode of season 7 but it's worth it.  I'm often criticised by April for never knowing the names of most of the peripheral characters in half of the shows I watch so now am pretty sure I know most of them...  Although i'm not volunteering to go on Mastermind any time soon.

The second half of the new season starts on Monday night.  Fingers crossed for a little retaliation after the turmoils of the last set.

Good idea?

I've rewatched 90% of the walking dead over the past few weeks in preparation for the second half of the new season, the majority of which during the last few days. I do think it's great but I also don't think it's particularly healthy.  I might need a thorough cleanse afterwards. Perhaps by watching reruns of last of the summer wine.

Welcome to hell

This is Weavering Rugby Club, or at least they use it for their changing rooms and after game beers.  The building was in the middle of a new estate on the outskirts of Maidstone.  I find it really strange that they have to protect their community sports facilities with high walls and barbed wire.  Such a shame.

The lads we played against were decent though so that's all that matters.

One thing's for sure though, I now know where to go in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

We won 52-11 by the way.

Just incase

Just incase those pesky zombies attack I now own an axe. And a baseball bat.

Come get some!

Monster supplies

We stumbled across this funny shop on the way to the gig yesterday, full oforite/ all sorts of goodies.  Zombie flavored sweets were my favorite.

Very good show indeed

Having been away for a number of weeks i'd amassed a five episodes of The Walking Dead so over the weekend and yesterday I watched them all.  Brilliant.  It really is a great show.  It has the right balance of character interaction, action and frights to keep me entertained.  And I can't wait for the next episode.

Anything else good on TV that I can record?

Zombie arm 2

I tackled a guy with my forearm on Saturday and hit a boney part. I hope it hurt him more than it hurt me.

Zombie Attack

Should we be worried?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8206280.stm

The funniest part of this story is the Professor's name. Robert Smith?, the question mark was added so that people didn't confuse him with the lead singer of the Cure.

Unless he started to wear make up and The Cure all started to wear elbow pads I don't think he'll have a problem.

Funny dreams

I had a dream about zombies last night. Don't worry it wasn't a horror nightmare type dream, it was more comedy thriller. All the zombies were midgets...

I'd definitely watch that film!

Zombie arm

The bruise on my arm has turned a nice shade of zombie...
I'm giving blood in that arm on Monday morning. I wonder what she'll say.
