It's so slick, unless the surface is perfectly level it has a tendency to slide off. It's happened about 4 times now.

2nd problem
There are a few standard apps installed that are in Korean that keep popping up on my notice bar. I can't uninstall them so it's fairly annoying.
There's a Korean girl in my office that's on maternity leave that may be able to turn off the notifications.
Edit: I think HTC is from Taiwan, not Korea. Oops.

First chink in the armour
The HTC messages widget seems to have disappeared. Anybody know of a good one I can use?
It is however nice and fast.

Goody, goody gumdrops
Just got my fancy new phone. Yeah! And it's just about copied all my shit across without me needing to do anything.

New phone on route
Just ordered myself a new phone. I've had this current one or at least a version of this one (phone replaced as I broke it) for nearly two years now which is a long time for me. I'd usually get myself a new phone and a new contract every year but since moving to giff gaff and with Android being virtually the same on each phone the only point of replacing it is if it stops working or becomes too slow. I've bought a sim free version as I've been very happy with giff gaff, especially the price.
The phone's still very fast but has started to fall apart a bit with the headphone connector intermittently packing up and a slight warming up issue, butopefully I'll still be able to get a few quid for it.
My tablet however has become noticeably slow and unresponsive. I may have to replace that sooner rather than later. Anybody want an 18 month old Samsung 10.1?

My temporary phone
Jeez. Not many features. But it does have an integrated torch... Hopefully, I'll get my real phone back soon enough.
I'm on a new number though as it didn't recognise my Sim.

New phone tomorrow
I managed to negotiate a fair but off Vodafone's initial quoted price. Only £100 after selling my current phone for a 12 month contract. After that, i'll be moving to April's recommended Giff Gaff which is far cheaper. £10 per month for all I need.

£90+ for my phone
I'll never get a stupid apple.

Speed dials
1=Voicemail
2=April
3=Steve (and that's a push)
4=Honeymoon Chinese Take-away
5= ...
I don't call anyone else enough to warrant giving them a speed dial

Argh! Bloody Royal Mail
Fair enough.
Looking at the back it says that the opening times are 7am to 5:30pm. Great, i've missed it tonight but i'll be able to get up 30 mins earlier and pick y shiny new toy up in the morning.
I walked to the post office this morning at around 7:15 and it was shut. The sorting office opens at 9:30! Argh!!! Idiots!
I'll be contactable from tomorrow now.

New Phone
I had the N95 and it was an excellent phone (until it broke) so i'm really looking forward to it. I should get it over the next couple of days.
I was going to follow Kris' advice and go with 3 but looking at a handful of reviews online they have pretty poor customer service. I've had a lifetime of terrible customer service woes recently with Carphone Warehouse so I just don't want to risk it.
The deal's virtually the same so i'm not massively fussed.
