Celeb spot

Shaheen was out with a friend after work last night and took a cheeky photo of a celeb.  Ally McCoist.  Good spot.

On my way to the games cafe last night for our latest D&D session I spotted Andy from Kent Survival, my favourite youtuber.  I know he'd moved to Tonbridge but have not spotted him yet.  I said hello and shook his hand.  His a good guy.  I also spotted him at 9:30 when we left too, so I assume he'd been for a bite to eat or the pub!

We went here for lunch

http://www.reddogsaloon.co.uk/

Fairly good although the service was terrible and a bit too far to go for lunch when you work in the city as it's over on Hoxton Square, two £10 cabs away.  Luckily we were expensing it so who cares.

The highlight other than the buffalo wings, was the maitre d' who was no other than 'Shabby' from big brother 10.

I didn't spot her as I wouldn't notice that kind of trash but my female colleague did.

Aussie VIPs

Last night's wine tasting was good fun although some of the wine pourers were a bit on the stingey side. We soon congregated around the more generous stalls. Mad Fish being one in particular.

There were also some very important people at the embassy attending a different event, in fact there was the Premier of Western Australia who popped down to say hello and possibly a glass or two of wine…

Anyway, after sampling around 25 of the 50 wines available and stuffing myself silly on the canapés we left (they stopped serving wine) we headed back onto the Strand. As we were leaving a tray of discarded name tags was laying on a table near the exit so we had a rummage through to see who else was at the VIP event.

Top of the list was none other than Rolf Harris! We nicked the tag and ran out. He, he!

I forgot to say

On my recent trip to Glasgow last month Hardeep Singh Kohli of The One Show fame (no longer) was on the same flight. It was obvious that he didn't want to chat though, he was wearing shades and earphones for the entirety of the waiting lounge / flight.

Other famous people I have spotted in the last 10 years include Jarvis Cocker, Michael Winner, and Darius
