Mice
I think a family of mice have moved into our kitchen and they have a taste for Iams. We've still not seen one yet but after dark we can here them squeaking from the front room. Bloody things. Now to get a humane pest controller as our lazy cats don't seem to be doing their jobs.

Bloody cat
Poppet has started bringing in mice again. Bloody thing. I managed to catch a live one on Monday night, then picked up a twitching one last night.

First blood
Just found the first dead mouse of the year. Poor little guy.
Not bad for the 2nd of July though. We've usually had a couple of frogs and a bird by now. The cats must be getting old.

First kill of the season
One of the cats caught and killed their first mouse of the year last night. Bloody things. April kindly made me go downstairs to clear it up.

More dead bodies
I found another dead mouse of the weekend. This one was not a pretty site. Once again the I was the hero of the day and removed it.

Killer cats
Our cats have been hunting again. Not only did we find a dead mouse under the bed on Saturday morning but Poppet has started to bring in fat juicy frogs! Yuk!
I managed to catch them and release them the first two times, but we were woken up at 4 this morning, this time it was dead. I assume it was the same stupid one.

Killers strike again
yesterday morning we had another death in the house. The cats had brought in another mouse, I think that brings the tally up to 5.
Eek! Poor little things.
