Halloween

 Flo and Arthur made these last Friday.  They're not lego, but something very similar.

Pumpkins!

 Here are the pumpkins took from the rugby club last Sunday.  We finally carved the last few yesterday.  Mine is the big one in the second photo.

 The kids dressed up on Friday for their last day at Barracudas.  They're in a clubs for 3 days this week, we'll have to juggle them for the 2 days without.

We went to the Old Fire Station on Saturday as they'd put on a special halloween event.  The kids dressed up and really enjoyed it.

Mad scientist

 The posh street on the way to Flo and Arthur's school always makes an effort at halloween.  This year there was a mad scientist at one of the houses.  About 15 of Flo's friends met up earlier for a Halloween party then trick or treated all the way to the school.

 One of the other mums from Flo's school invited a couple of families over to there's on Friday for a pumpkin carving party.  It was good fun.

The kids had fun trick or treating last night.  Flo dressed as a witch, Arthur a pumpkin.

Giant pumpkin

We picked up this giant white pumpkin from a farmers market at the weekend, it nearly weighs as much as Flo.

Flo chose the pumpkin, April designed it and I did the carving.  Arthur watched.

Halloween already?

 We had some friends over for dinner and movie night last night, two of them are vegetarian, one permanent the other just for the month so I cooked them a butternut squash, we had roast beef.

I did the food shopping with Flo so when I was looking for the squash Flo also spotted a pumpkin.  Here he is.

Not sure how Halloween will work this year.  Sadly it's probably not going to work as which is a shame as I think it's my favourite nights of the year.
