It was a bit flamey when the oil lit but nobody died. I made a dill and creme fresh sauce as well.

I paid £8.20 for a pint of beer yesterday. London City. I met up with friends in the Counting House for lunch yesterday and bought my friend a pint of Asahi (Fullers pub). £8.20! We were due to meet in the spoons but it was too busy so moved to the next closest pub. Jeez!

83.75kg this morning. Lowest recording yet. I think most of that was sweat though as I came back from the gym dripping!

Picking up the kids

Flo is due to be in some ballet thing later in the year so has some additional rehearsals over in Tunbridge Wells during the week. Unfortunately they start and finish at difficult times for working parents. 10-4pm It's over in Tunbridge Wells so is an hour round trip as i've got to drop off and pick up Arthur too! Here's us waiting for Florence to finish

Big battle

We fought a rather large battle of cultists in the last episode of Vecna. We retrieved the 4th part of his staff but are about to meet Straad (a vampire) as we attempt to leave the haunted house. Great. Looking forward to that.

Back to the pub tonight

Our roleplaying group is back in the pub tonight. We're in the upstairs function room and it's going to be bloody hot. I'm going to bring a couple of portable fans.

Legoland on Sunday

Arthur's been asking to go to Legoland for quite a while now, with the weather been rubbish at the beginning of year and us having a more or less full schedule over the Spring / Summer we finally had a spare day so took the family on Sunday. What was the verdict? Pretty good really. We went on a few rides, saw a show, went to a couple of water parks and made lots of lego.
