I've had a sore shoulder for a few months now and for the last couple i've been seeing a physio (2 physios) they're not sure what the issue is so i've decided to use our private medical insurance. April's company doesn't provide it and I was out of work for 4 months so we've had to purchase our own. I used it this week to have a video consultation with a specialist and he's suggested I get an MRI as he suspects I might have a slap tear on my shoulder / bicep (I think it's related to the injury on my left arm where I had to get my bicep repositioned just after Florence was born. Unfortunatly, our personal private health doesn't cover prior injuries so the claim was rejected. I get private health with my new company so and it covers prior illness / injuries but I have to wait until mid June to sort it out. Funny thing is the health insurance provider is with the same company so they'll have to cover it anyway but i'll still be in pain for an additional month. Doh!
