After dropping the kids and the dog off at my dad's we headed straight to Manchester for the Cure gig. For a journey that should have taken 2h45, we ended up being in the car for 6h30! There was a closure to one whole junction due to a lorry fire, multiple other collisions and a lorry crossing the central reservation! FFS! But we made it with 10sec to spare.
