I've been off Facebook for 2.5 years now and I don't miss it. I deleted my Instagram account yesterday. It was just another of those things you feel the need to check up on constantly just to see if anything has happened. Nothing ever happened. My morning routine would be to check BBC football gossip (not sure where they get their stories from now, probably the editor's latest game of football manager), check Instagram and check twitter then get up.
I'll keep twitter for a while as I do find it useful but am going to make a concerted effort to stop following people who have begun to annoy me, and block certain words. I did this with the words Brexit and Piers and it worked a treat.
My people call me the dude. I share my teachings in the passages below... (along with many typos, grammatical errors and lazy writing)

Heated conversation in the lift this morning
The lift to work this morning was busy but it was made even more claustrophobic by the heated conversation between a Brexiter and a Remainer. The Brexiter overheard a conversation where the Remainer must have said something disparaging against Brexiters so he butted in saying he was fed up with Remainers claiming that all Brexiters were morons. The Remainer argued back. I don't think they even knew each other.
This continued till my floor on the 10th. I should have stayed in till the 12th to see if there was going to be a punch up.
