I collected my order of 24 bottles of wine on Saturday and they gave me a free bottle of 0% beer.

Bloody git

A couple of years ago I applied for something called a bite card. This entitled you too 20% of food and drink at certain shops at certain stations. Including certain pubs.

6 months ago they dropped this discount down to 10%.  A friend of mine received an email saying that his too was dropping down to 10% except for the boss which remained at 20%.

Until now I didn't believe him.

I wrote a letter to the company that administered it and they've just got back to me.

Apparently it's because I use my bite card less than 50% If the time on booze. Doh! I also use it for my tea in the morning. If only I want so tight!

Pre beer festival beers

A friend who's wedding we went to a couple of weeks ago had a spare beer barrel and a keg of cider left ovet so dropped it round mine before we headed off to a beer festival at my rugby club.

Pretty cheap night as half of the bar men were other players so got loads of free beer on top of the free beer before.

And it's back on again

Not all of the beer festival beer was returned so my club's holding a smaller event inside this weekend instead. I'm still booked to help out this afternoon at 4. Followed by a lovely curry.

Thankfully I wasn't helping out last night as I was not feeling well after Thursday's antics. Urgh, I was well and truely hangover yesterday. I even only drank lemonade at the pub when we met up with friends for a quick drink.
