 Arwen got her Summer haircut yesterday and I think she looks very smart.

Day off

 One of the perks in my current FTC contract is a free discretionary day to use whenever. In addition to that I have 7 left for the rest of the year. 6 are already booked over the Christmas holiday to look after the kids so that leaves me with 2 spare.

I'm using one today. I haven't had a day's holiday since the start of the summer holidays in mid July ( ignore the day I till off to play test FM) and really feel like having a little break to myself. 

What an I doing? I stayed a bit longer in the gym, had a coffee locally whilst setting out the training plan for the u6s on Sunday. Had a haircut and I've just arrived in London Charing Cross. I'm planning on having a nice little wonder round, pop in for a pint or two at a pub I like and then grab some food in China town before heading back. I might pop into the Chequers for a couple before heading home.

 It's been 4 months since her last one and now she looks very smart.  Just in time for the cold winter.  Poor girl.

Dog's had a haircut

 £50 a pop now!  Ouch!  She did need it though as she was very shaggy.

 £50!  I think we'll wait to the spring before her next one.

Florence is looking old

 She's 7 in October but already looking too old.  I took her to get her hair done on Saturday.  Only £25, half the price as Arwen!

 Arwen had her quarterly trim on Tuesday, doesn't she look good?  £50 though!

What will Arwen look like

 I took Arwen in to get her haircut earlier and have asked for her to have a short cut.  This will apparently get rid of her puppy hair but she's nearly 4 so not really a puppy anyway.  It should mean we won't have to cut her hair as often.  Hopefully she doesn't look too bad.

 We finally managed to get Arwen booked into the groomers, she was pretty shaggy before.  Hopefully this will make her more comfortable in this lovely summer we're having.

A little shorter than we'd liked

 We took Arthur for another haircut at the weekend, his hair gets quite wavey (like mine) when it gets long so we wanted it cut a little shorter.  A number 3 round the sides is a little short (I get a 2).  Oh well, at least it'll grow back soon enough.

Home haircuts

 Flo's normal hairdresser that's on our street can't fit her in till September which is ridiculous, so we're going to find a new one that can fit her in a little quicker.  It only takes her 5 mins and she gets £10 so not sure what the problem is.  Anyway.  Here's April's attempt...  I'm thinking Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dummer.  Dwayne Dibley from Red Dwarf or Bob Mortimer when he's pretending to be someone from Slade.

A bit short

April cut my hair yesterday and it's a bit short...  We got the number wrong on the clippers and it's a little shorter that i'd like.  Oh well, let's hope it grows back.

Pre-lock down haircut

 I got April to cut my hair with the clippers yesterday.  Not a bad job.  And a £15 saving.

A little shorter than usual

April giving me haircut no. 2 during the lockdown.  A little short and a little too high up the sides with the razor.  4 / 10 this week.  April's own review was "You look a little bit army".
