Hight update

No i've not grown.  The kids have though.  It's been 6 months since the last measure and they've both grown 3 cm.  Both still above average.  Interesting fact:  Arthur is 5cm taller than Flo at the same age!

Height update

 Flo and Arthur height update.  Flo 133, Arthur 120.  He's 4 cm taller than Flo at the same age.

No sign in slowing down for Arthur

 Arthur grew another 2.5cm since the last measure.  Flo's dipping off but still will be taller than average when it's her 8th birthday in October.

Height update

 Bother kids are still tracking well above average.  Arthur has grown 3.5 cm since November 4.5 since September), Flo 3 cm since September.

New term, new heights

 Flo is now 1.26cm and Arthur is 1.11cm tall.  Flo is 6 and 11 months old and the average 7 year old is 121cm!  Arthur is 4 and 3 months which is 9cm taller than a 4 year old and 2 cm taller than an average 5 year old!  Really not sure where this height is coming from.  Certainly not me!

Height comparison update

 They still both quite a bit above average in height for their age.  Arthur is 6 cm taller than average as a 4 year old. Flo approx 4 or 5 cm

Checking out weight for Arthur.  He's supposed to 16.3kgs, he's weighing in at a whopping 22kgs!  He's going to be a beast!

More growth

 

Another month and Flo has grown 2 cm and Arthur 1cm.  They're both significantly above average height for their age.

Arthur's gaining pace

 Measured Arthur this evening and he's 102cm, Flo hasn't changed at 116cm.  He's 170 days younger than Flo when she was this height.

It's his first day at the big school today, let's hope he has lots of fun.  He's still in nursery, 1 year left after this term but it makes sense to put them both into the same school.

The average height for a 3 year old (he's 3 in a little over a month) is only 95cm, he's a wapping 1m!  I don't have the exact data for Flo but she would have been around 96 / 97 cm at 3 compared to the average girl of 94cm.  Not sure where they're getting the height from.

Flo's now 5.5, the average height for a girl at 6 is 115.5cm.  Unless she stops growing she'll be a fair bit taller than that too.

Arthur looks just like me

I took Arthur for his 2.5yr check up yesterday.  All good.  Although shockingly 75th percentile for height and 99th percentile for weight! Jeez!

Arthur's had a growth spurt

 We measured the kids on Saturday and Arthur's grown 3cm in a 2 and a half months.  If he keeps this up he's be as short as me...

Height tracker

 We've been keeping track of the kids heights but it's quite difficult to compare given the dates and heights are all over the place.  It's better stored in days old.  Here's Arthur slightly ahead* of Flo at the same stage.  

*There is a large element of error in the data when you're only 20 months old though so they may actually be the same height at this stage.
