First blood

Josie brought in her first stick yesterday.  Good girl.  Some way to go to catch up on our old cat Poppet.  She must have brought us hundreds of sticks over the years.

Poppet was meowing like mad earlier so popped upstairs to see what the commotion was.  She'd caught a donkey.

This is what happens when you play with Poppet. Don't say you weren't warned.

Getting back from the Belgium trip we saw this carnage in our back garden. Lovely.

Poppet killed another mouse last night.

How lovely.

Safest place for her

She attacks me if I stroke her through the bars.

Second kill of the week

Not only did Biscuit catch an extremely large moth this week, this morning our little killer brought home her latest victim.  I haven't done a formal autopsy yet but I think she may have bagged herself a scotch egg.  Yuk!
