Poor old Pinchy

We went to my current favorite restaurant again yesterday. Sankey's.

All very good although they messed up our order. Wrong sauce on the lobster. Not to worry it was only an additional 15 mins late. We ended up getting half of my whole lobster free. Yeah!

Disappointed

I applied for a fairly senior role at work a few weeks back and on Monday I was told I was in the last two.  An external guy and me.  That was out of an initial 8 that had the initial first interview.

Unfortunately I found out yesterday that I didn't get it.  Doh!  Pretty disappointed as it would have been a very good role for me and ideally I would like to stay at my current company.  Oh well.  Let's see if there is anything else available.

Change pot time

As a thank you to April for sorting out the kitchen (still not finished!) I said she could have the change in my change pot to get the diamonds in her wedding ring to go all the way round.

I think she's pleased. £512.84!

Football watching

Featuring a particularly rosey Stu. To my credit, it was a scorching 35℃ for 6 out of the 7 days. And gingers are not naturally suited to that.

After an initial mix up with our room we finally got the deluxe suit we paid for. Our more importantly the bath with a view.
