Arthur's birthday party

 Arthur had a shared birthday party with his friend Mia on Sunday.  Entertainment was by Captain Fantastic.

Stuck in town

 I was stuck in town on Monday, I nearly had to get a hotel for the night.  There was a fire at a recycling centre right next to the train line (near New Cross).  Trains were cancelled and delayed all over the place.  I managed to entertain myself. 

LAst night's game

There's a few more weeks to go of this adventure.  It's amazing we're all still alive, it's quite hard when some of our party only has 3hp! 

 

Home made chicken stock

 I made chicken wings on Sunday and had some left over wing tips that I made stock with.  There was a little too much so Arwen helped out.

Maybe I won't water the garden later today

Cricket

 With April and Flo still being away, I took Arthur to his cricket lesson on Sunday morning.  April had the car so we cycled.  It took us 20 mins to ride through the park, wood and last stretch of road.  

Ribs and corn

 We had ribs and corn for tea on Saturday.  

Remote control

 My brother Steve bought Arthur a remote control car for his birthday a couple of weeks ago and he's been smashing into all of our skirting boards ever since.  I took him to the rugby fields in the afternoon on Saturday so he could properly use it in anger outdoors.  It was fun.

Food festival

 After taking Arthur to his swimming lesson on Saturday morning we walked to the castle where there was a food festival.  Arthur wanted a burger, so we had burgers.

Boys weekend

 April took Flo  and the dog camping this weekend, so Arthur and I had a boys weekend at home.  I asked him what he wanted for dinner and he said Thai, so I took him to our local Thai restaurant round the corner and ate far too much.

Arthur was kicked in the head (accident?) by Florence earlier in the day.
