BBQ on a firepit

 I've been thinking about using my firepit for a while now so got it out today.  Steak turned out very nice!

Pizza in the evening

 BBQ earlier but we cooked pizzas for team Clark today.  Pretty decent.

Not bad

 I got Bosnia and Herzegovina in the work world cup sweepstake.  It didn't cost me anything so not too fussed.  For £10 I entered the pub one.  I drew Germany, so pretty pleased.  The landlord drew England so you can imagine how much grief he got.  £480 total pot, most to the winner but prizes go down to the 2 semi finalists too.

Missed pb by 1 second

I missed my 500m pool swim record by 1 second this morning. I was approximately 20 seconds behind after 10 laps so impressed by clawing it back. Consistency is good too though.

Blood donation 71

 And in very good time.  I gave blood for the 71st time this afternoon.  And was back at my desk at home within an hour!  Not bad.

Final voucher

 It was a bit too wet for touch rugby this evening with a chance of lightning, we had a childminder booked so we went out for a date night instead.  We had £50 / £150 vouchers left from the u6s rugby clubs so decided to use them.  Steak night at the Ivy House.

He's back!

 I beat my 400m and 500m pool swim records today.  

400m 7:48, 8 seconds faster than my previous best (03-03-25)

500m 9:40, 16 seconds faster (again on 03-03-25).

Since the 3rd of March last year i've had a shoulder operation and now i'm back up to speed.  My shoulder isn't completely healed but it must be getter there with that time.  I think my fitness is much higher than it was last year too.

 April was away in Singapore for most of last week, so I was home alone with the kids.  As a treat we went to the local Thai on the way home from school on Friday.

 I went to a friend's wedding reception on Saturday night, and it was lovely.

 April made some honey soy ones, but mine were the best.
