I was wondering why I was tired today

Then I remembered I did this earlier.

After that I had a 2.5 hour one on one mortgage application meeting. Urgh, that certainly didn't help. All good though.

As expected

Bloody new shoes!  I have two big toes, and now I have a matching pair of cut big toes.  This will only get worse until either my feet or my shoes give up.

I bought a pair of new shoes yesterday. It's going to be a painful few days.

All clear

Car service and mot went well yesterday. Everything in order. Thank fcuk for that.

Believe it or not

Today is the 10th anniversary of my blog. Who'd have thought I'd have kept it up for quite so long?

Service please

Just dropped the car off to get serviced. Mot too. £480 bargain... Let's hope they don't find anything wrong with it. Or that we need new tyres.

We had to renew its tax a couple of weeks ago. Another £475, so no more please. At least the insurance kept about the same at a very reasonable £280.

House bought!

Finally. With a little struggle with one of the owners they finally accepted our offer.

No control

A couple of weeks ago on the way into work I saw a guy in a suit fall off skate board whilst commuting. I couldn't control myself and laughed out loud.  Another guy in front of me turned around, looked at me and chuckled.

I do like a bit of slapstick.

Still waiting on our latest and final house offer.

Now they want to know what our chain is like from our agents. Quick? Yes, they're practically cash buyers.

Also, have we got an approved mortgage? Yes, our mortgage providers will lend us an extra £250k if need be (couldn't afford to do much else other than pay mortgage ate that level though).

Just been told by our IT department that rather than doing a simple copy and paste of 2TBs of data I should use a programme called Robocopy.

Not used it yet but great name!
