We had good fun last year, I finished 3rd in our Tonbridge group. But also just outside the top 500k. That's out of over 7m players world wide so pretty pleased.

Table's back
Our table maker brought back our table and bench this morning, it's looking good. Hopefully the new braces keep it straight. They should do as it now weighs a ton!

Back to roleplaying
It's been 3 or 4 weeks since we last had an RPG night at the local board game cafe. With people being on holiday / ill / GM unavailable we've not been able to meet up. I offered my place up one week but one of our group was having anxiety issues so cancelled.
The latest game hasn't been great in my eyes which is not the GM's fault. I just don't feel a massive attraction to pretending to be a vampire. There's something I feel that's wrong with playing an inherently evil character.
I don't like doing it with computer games too. I somehow always follow the good path.
Back in town today
Did a fair amount of work this morning which is nice. Still plenty to do before the big deadline in early September.
Interesting news. The syndicate I work for has been bought by another managing agency so is going through all the usual rubbish at the PRA. Quite a few senior managers have left / or in the process of leaving (including mine). I'm glad I won't be there for the transition. Lots of integration headaches ahead I think.

Trial day
Arthur had is having a trial day at a new childminder today. We're hoping she can take him for a few days a week starting in September till he starts at Hilden Grange with Flo next Easter.

What a great day. Well done the girls. I've watched much more that I thought I would and thoroughly enjoyed it all. It was excellent!
Archers Royal...? I bought Jono a bottle of Archers after much struggle trying to find it on the high street a little while ago. We decided to finish it off in style with some champagne. As you do.

Spending the winnings
The football season is about to start so we all went out to spend the £120 winnings from last season's fantasy football league we're in.
Horse riding lesson
Flo had her last rugby tots session on Saturday so we're trying to find something else for her to do. She enjoyed horse riding on holiday so thought we'd give it a try.
