I had another great weekend. Friday night was my work's Christmas ball. Usual affair, dinner jackets and free booze. And of course the lovely April.
I was supposed to be playing on Saturday but I think that was a bit optimistic, I would have played with my usual hangover but it was April's last day in the country so spent it with her instead. We went for a Nandos and had a really good chat. She's off for 3 weeks now though. Boo hoo! I then left her to pack whilst I walked back to mine.
Saturday night was just what I needed, a nice night in with Becky, not booze and a DVD and a takeaway. The Da Vinci Code. It was okay, but I can't be arsed writing a half arsed review.
Last night (afternoon and night) I went on a mini pub crawl round Putney with Shaheen. Ugh!!! Finally got in at about 10 and attempted to watch Miami Vice. What a poor film. I won't even dignify it with a review.
However for some reason IMdb rate it 6.1/10 (17,154 votes). Maybe I should try and watch it again sober.
Off out to my new team's Christmas lunch in a bit. Should be fun meeting the rest of them.
