Design flaws

I found the stationary cupboard at work today so have acquired myself a couple of pens. One of them is a Gel Grip pen.

The lid doesn’t stay on the end of the pen (non-nib end). I know pens probably isn’t what the designer wanted to specialise in having left university but come on…

Other than writing, having the lid stay on the top of the pen is one of key design points, otherwise there is an increased likelihood of losing said lid and drying out the ink. Or maybe that’s deliberate, they want you to be replacing your pen more often.

Either way, it’s annoying.
