There's a few trees down

The calm after the storm.

I thought i'd have to turn back

But I could walk through the undergrowth for a bit and get back to the path

It must have been pretty windy

Spotted this umbrella on my walk with Arwen this morning.

Arwen found a ball

I went to Dene Park woods this morning with Arwen.  She found a ball and insisted we play.

There were quite a few trees ripped out of the ground.  That wind a couple of weeks back must have been strong!

Yesterday morning I woke up to this

We put our paper and cardboard recycling out for collection the next day on Wednesday night.  The storm blew all of the old green party leaflets all over the street.  I had to go and collect them all up for taking the kids to the nursery.  Urgh.  Just what I wanted to do.

It's bloody windy in the city today

When in the corridors by the toilets you can feel the wind blowing through the building.  When it's properly gusting you can hear it too.  Glad I don't work on one of the new tall buildings.  I think i'd be sick with the swaying.

Hopefully the route home is fine too.

Interesting graphic

I was checking out tropical storm Oscar's wind history and here's the graphic.  Made me chuckle.
