Arwen found a ball

I went to Dene Park woods this morning with Arwen.  She found a ball and insisted we play.

There were quite a few trees ripped out of the ground.  That wind a couple of weeks back must have been strong!

Spot the ball

I launched one or Arwen's balls into this tree this morning expecting it to cascade down like a binomial machine  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m4bxse2JEQ

I waited but nothing happened.  The ball never landed.  The tree was too big to shake so Arwen was left without a ball for the rest of her walk.  Sorry Arwen.

Maybe it was the spirit of the tree we took down yesterday enacting some form of revenge.

Such a good dog

Arwen's been on her long lead when we take her out for a few weeks ago now as all she wants to do is run over to other dogs to say hello and play.  It's quite frustrating as we'd like to let her off but when she has her mind set on it her recall has all but disappeared.

This week I brought out the ball chucker again and she's obsessed about it, it's the only thing she wants to do.  Now she's let off the lead and back in the good books.  Unfortunately she lost her first ball today when she dropped it and it rolled into the river.  Doh.  Not to worry, we have plenty more.
