The main coach for the u6s was ill this week so I stepped up and ran the session. We had to move venues as the rugby pitches where flooded. Here we are at another of Tonbridges private schools. It's a bit bigger and posher than the one Flo and Arthur go to but it's at the wrong end of town and not walkable. Here's Flo and Josh dicking around while I set everything up.
I was out with Flo in the morning coaching the u6s so April made our Sunday lunch. Her first roast dinner. Potatoes could have been better but the rest was great.
I helped Flo do her 300 piece jigsaw puzzle on Sunday. It was quite tough. The letters at the end were the hardest.
I managed to find one of our favourite dishes when we first went out. Strada (chain, now closed) gorgonzola rigatoni speck. I think I gave it justice! Flo helped out too!
We've just renewed our energy contract and it's gone up a massive £1200 per year! We were luckily stuck on a fixed price tariff with British Gas so missed out on all of last year's fun!
The posh street on the way to Flo and Arthur's school always makes an effort at halloween. This year there was a mad scientist at one of the houses. About 15 of Flo's friends met up earlier for a Halloween party then trick or treated all the way to the school.
The area around the clubhouse has flooded again. Let's hope it has a chance to drain out before Sunday's u6 training.
April's off with the kids this week and yesterday she took them to Bluewater. She booked them into the dino soft play. The kids had a blast!
