Sunday was very hot in Tonbridge, I had a look in the shed but couldn't find our paddling pool. There were none we could click and collect at Argos but luckily Waitrose had a few we could choose from. April chose this massive one. We've got hot and cold taps in the garden for washing the dog so it was like a big bath.

Hastings trip
The Tonbridge lot had a lovely day out in Hastings on Saturday, the kids were left at home with Flo's old nanny (£100) then we all headed down to Hastings on the train. The Scannells are selling up (Eastbourne) and are trying to move there so we all headed down for some recognisance.
Rib of beef
We had friends over for a dinner party on Friday. I cooked a lovely rib of beef. We've got loads left though. Whoops.

Home alone
Or at least with no help. April's off to Hull for 2 nights (3 days) with work and won't get back till Thursday evening.
Both kids are in breakfast club and late evening play groups so I don't have to do much other than wake them up, get them dressed, brush their teeth and take them into school by 7:30, followed by picking them up at 6, perhaps feeding them something then making sure they've brushed their teeth before putting them to bed.
What could go wrong?
It's arrived
The new Surface Pro has arrived and it's pretty much the same as the old one but perhaps a little heavier. It should be with all the kit in it. I think it's more or less set up now with all of my old stuff in there and i've also test driven it for football manager over lunch and had plenty of battery left over to spare.

Another winner
Our pub team won the quiz at the Nelson again on Sunday night, but i'm still not feeling great so April went in my stead. I don't contribute much when I do go but I think we've won it 9 / 10 times. The locals must hate us.
Winner!
I won this years fantasy football trophy. And by over 100 points! It's still yet to be inscribed. And I have only received £20 of my winnings. Unfortunately the winnings are used to take the other players out for drinks so it's usually a big net loss! I also won my local pub's league, the Ye Olde Chequers Drip Tray Challenge. No prize unfortunately.
My dog missed me
Arwen was house sat by some friends whist we were away but some others kept an eye on her too and let her stay over for the evening before we got back last Tuesday.
