Considerably nicer than our house

We take some pride in our house, especially after the extension that was completed last year, however we have considerable house envy of our daughter's new friend's house.

We popped over for a play date / bbq on Saturday and had a lovely time.

Hallway

April did some stalking and found the full  listing Wateringbury - Graham John

It's probably not to far off the value of our house after the works,  but what a house.  They are sacrificing living next to amenities as there's not much in their village and they more or less have to drive everywhere but more importantly there's no pub in the village.  But what a wonderful house.  It's certainly got me thinking.

All that aside.  We're about to get the back garden landscaped in the next couple of months which will be nice for the summer.  Loads left to do other than that too but nothing urgent.

Too much

I've either got too much money or too little taste.

I bought this official Metallica coasters set.  Quite pleased they arrived today.

First bite

We've had our first bite from the house buying leaflets that April put out on Sunday. By the looks of it they only bought it a year ago. Either something's wrong with the build (it's an old house that has been fully redeveloped) or they're having trouble paying the mortgage or it could be any reason...

It was last sold at the lower end of our budget do we may regret not stretching ourselves.

Lots to think about though.

No sale

Not much news on the house front.  No offers on our place despite a second viewing (couple, she prefers our house, he prefers another).  We have a new viewing on Saturday however.  The house we put an offer in on accepted a different offer.  Higher than asking price without a chain.  So back to the drawing board again.
