Game session 1

After what must be over 2 years we had the first session of the new D&D game, ran by me.

I think it went down well, next session next week, unless it clashes with an England game.  As an added bonus, nobody died.  Or at least none of the player characters.

Me fully concentrating with a glass of wine and watching the end of the one day cricket.

To top that off we've got friends over tonight for a games night.  It's been too long since one of them too!

Now to get it finished

Here's it all set up and working

Things that need doing
  1. Walls re-plastered (Guys coming round in a couple of weeks to do the top bedrooms, hallway and stairwells, and my room)
  2. Window referbed
  3. Walls painted (booked in to do after the above)
  4. Carpet laid (will book in to do after the above)
  5. Shelving on the back wall, might get similar ones to the Ikea ones we have in the top bedroom
  6. New desk, this is my Dad's old desk, and the drawers and filing cabinet are full of all of April's stuff.  This is my room.  No girls allowed (or their stuff!)
  7. New chair
  8. Display hook for my Han Solo blaster.

Session 2

The remote gaming thing seems to be working

A bit of controversy with my new dice, I rolled at least 5 natural 20s.  It's been suggested that rather than have the camera on me and Florence, that I position it on my dice rolls.

Here they are in all their glory.

Only $7.99 from Dave's Dice

Gaming in the pub

I was waiting for April in a pub just off Kings Cross last night and group of guys unpacked started playing Ticket to Ride: Europe.

I'm thinking of seeing if I can convince a few locals to do the same in Tonbridge. Perhaps the first Monday of every month starting in the new year.

More people into the gaming fold

I don't think we'll get them to play War on Terror, Fortune and Glory or Zombiecide anytime soon but we've added another few friends into the gaming 'scene'.  That'll make it 6 in total.

Playstation 4

I'm now the proud owner of a playstation 4. I also endedup buying a new hd tv as our second tv wouldn't have done it justice.
