Just ordered a new mouse

Just ordered a new mouse for my new toy.

Don't worry.  I didn't get this one.  

Although I think it transforms into a coffee grinder so could come in handy.

First blood

Just found the first dead mouse of the year.  Poor little guy.

Not bad for the 2nd of July though.  We've usually had a couple of frogs and a bird by now.  The cats must be getting old.

The Killing

Poppet's at it again, there was a dead mouse on the stairs when I went down this morning. Stupid cat!

Sore hand

I've got a sore hand today. Not sure what's wrong with it as I didn't really hurt it again on Saturday when playing rugby. It's only when I use the mouse though so just for today i'm going to use my left.

Cat and Mouse

Biscuit caught another mouse last night and felt it necessary to bring it up to our bedroom and play with it. I again was oblivious until April shrieked and woke me up to get rid of it.

Catbo: First Blood

April was rudely awoken last night, the cats were playing with something under the bed and making a racket, she reached under and felt something wet. Eek was her cry! I was oblivious to all this, snoring away to what was happening. April has to lock the cats out for the rest of the night.

April told me all this when I woke up and then we spotted the body. A tiny little mouse. Have we pegged the cats wrong? I thought they were harmless wuss cats. Have we let trained killers into our home? Let’s hope not, as the mouse very nearly needed 2 flushes to go down the loo…
