Holiday

 We're off on holiday tomorrow.  We're going to a small village just outside Whitstable.  It's going to be fun, we're going with Shaheen and his family and our dog.  The weather forecast has improved since I first started looking so that's a bonus.  Although not what I would call hot, it's certainly not raining all week!

Not many firm plans on what to do yet, but sure we will find plenty of things to occupy us.

• Euros Final on Sunday
• 2 trips to a Michelin starred pub (we've been there before). Girls one night then boys http://thesportsmanseasalter.co.uk/
• I'd like to take the kids fruit picking if we can find somewhere local
• Possible trip to Canterbury
• Vineyard visit
• Zoo / safari park
• Hot tub

A nice relaxing bath

Flo woke me up at about 5:15 this morning, which is actually quite good.  She'd slept through since 7pm the previous day so a good night for Flo.  I got up and prepared her some milk, after that 9 times out of 10 she'll settle and we'll generally get another couple of hours before she wakes up again.

With it only being an hour or so before I'd need to get ready for work I decided it wasn't worth trying to get back to sleep so ended up running a nice relaxing bath.

10 minutes in the cat decided to have a shit in her litter tray (it's currently situated in the shower cubicle in the bathroom).  It stank so I had to get out of the bath, fish out the shit and flush it down the loo.

I got back in the bath.  10 minutes later Flo started chirping again.  I got out of the bath to see if a bottle of warm water would settle her, I opened her door to an ungodly odour.  She'd just had a shit in her nappy and was upset.  I changed her, put her back down and gave her the bottle.

10 minutes later April gets in the shower, Flo hadn't settled, Flo was still awake and had decided to throw her toys out of her cot.  Flo was annoyed that she no longer had her toys.  Flo started crying.

I get out of the bath for good.  Nice and relaxed

Finally a holiday to look forward to

We've finally booked some proper time off work. We haven't been away since Cancun early last November.
We've booked early May for a week then again for two weeks at the end of August with the view to perhaps taking another two weeks of at the end of the year with a slight overlap into 2014's allocation.
Nothing planned yet, but maybe a trip into Europe in May for some pre Sumner sun, then possibly drive to France and Italy in August followed by the Far East again finishing of in Australia in the new year.
Now to find the money to pay for it... I reckon I've got over £400 in my change pot so that's a start.

Morocco here I go

We've just booked a weeks all inclusive break to Morocco. Yeah, we booked the time off work weeks back but have been umming and arring on where to go, especially as we haven't received an invite to the royal wedding.

We're all inclusive again, we're not planning on doing much else than sitting in the sun and reading a few books whilst drinking cold beers, so fingers crossed that every thing's good on that front. The last place we went to was fine apart from the handful of other Brits that were there.

I've never been to Africa so I think we'll probably venture out at some point but doing nothing is very tempting too.

Only one proper continent left to visit after that, South America. Honeymoon?

Free weekend

A friend was supposed to stay round this weekend but that's now been postponed. That means i've got a free weekend!!! Yeah! I've got a game on Saturday but that's about it. There are rumors that we may be painting the living room but we'll have to see about that.
