Pocket bacon

 We went for a greasy spoon on Saturday and April over ordered.  I said we can't through it away, i'll take it home and give it to the dog.  3 days later I find it in my pocket!  The dog didn't complain.

Edit:  It was in fact in my pocket for 8 days not 3!

 Big guy on the train home last night had a small wardrobe malfunction.

Dead rat!

We've had a bit of a rat problem since we've come back from Chicago, and until now not been able to get rid of them.  Today I smelt a strange smell from the cupboard under the stairs so I took a look.  Yuk!

There was a dead rat half stuck in one of my beer making kits.  All cleaned up now and hopefully it will be the last of them.

I should have won player of the year, but that went to the son of the captain who played his last game ever (age 18). Cough...

As far as I can work out it was some sort of sweet bean paste desert. 
Taste = Sweet custard
Texture = mushy peas.
Verdict = Yummy...  Will I try it again? Hell no!
 
I twas better than the Lobster and Escallop sausage that I had last night with Shaheen, Kate and April in roast Borough Market.  Shaheen ordered the same as me and it wasn't great.  Taste was nice enough.  Texture was a sloppy mess.  Mmm.  Not the best £30 I ever spent.

Bloody cats!!! Strike back!

I was running late for work this morning so was rushing into the kitchen to feed the cats. Without looking I stepped into the kitchen and then into a pile of cat vomit.

Yuk! Bloody cats!

I didn't have time to clear it up so had to shout upstairs for a spare sock and asking April nicely to clear it up for me. Sorry April (you now have a voucher for one free cat mess clear up).
