 Flo had a joint birthday party with a school friend on Sunday, right in the middle of the England vs Fiji game.

A bit on the chilly side this morning!

This morning's walk was a little colder than of late. Arwen didn't seem to mind.

Finger update

 I went to Pembury hospital this morning for a physio appointment on my finger.  Not much to report other than they changed the splint to a smaller version.  Basically the tendon / bone detached in a tackle and needs to be held straight till it reattaches. My next appointment is in a couple of weeks but i've got to keep this on for another 6 weeks.  With a total 12 week heal time.  I think I won't be able to play again till the new year.

Same walk, but quicker

 I did the same walk with the dog this morning but got a march on.  I really enjoy it.  I get my steps in and get to listen to my backlog of podcasts.  The dog loves the run about too.

Last night's session

 Last night I spend most my time killing Durgar, micanoid infected humans and some sort of water elemental. 

Good fun with the guys, but they bring (and leave) too many snacks!  Level 3 soon.

Today's walk

 April took the kids in this morning as she was heading to London later.  That meant I got an extra 30 mins of so for the dog walk.  I decided to go the other direction to my normal walk and head along the canal and orchards.  15k steps before work.  Not bad.  Approx 11.5km

Flo's birthday cake

 April made a birthday cake with the kids on Sunday.  I think Florence enjoyed it yesterday.

Date night

 I bought some tickets to see Richard Herring record his podcast for a friend's birthday.  It was on Friday.  We popped out early for a drink and a quick bite of tapas then went to the show.  It was good fun but was a shame that he didn't manage to sell many tickets.  Of the 1,000 ish ticket venue i'd be surprised if 100 were sold.  What's wrong with Tunbridge Wells?

Main present

 Florence's main present was a new big bike.  She loved it.  She spent the first hour going up and down our small courtyard.

Fire!

We had friends over on Saturday night so I made some fish tacos.  The fish didn't do what I wanted but it tasted fine.  We wanted to make the most of the garden before the 'summer' finally ends so we went up to the top and lit the fire pit.  I was there till 12:30.  I love burning stuff!
