School summer fete

  We had our school's summer fate on Saturday and the kids had a lot of fun.  I got a little burnt as usual but it was good to see the other families and nice to see all the kids running around in the safe environment.

Dead ringer?

 Spotted this guy on the train on the way home last night.  A dead ringer for Larry David! 

No sign in slowing down for Arthur

 Arthur grew another 2.5cm since the last measure.  Flo's dipping off but still will be taller than average when it's her 8th birthday in October.

Heron!

 Spotted this guy in central Tonbridge this morning whilst out walking the dog.  I also spotted a swan landing on the way home in virtually the same spot but didn't have my phone out so no picture.  Not the most elegant thing i've seen a swan do?  Not that i've seen it but pretty sure swan landing aren't in Swan Lake.

Hard drive fixed

 The hard drive of our jukebox developed a fault so had to be sent away and get fixed.  I just need to pay (£258) and they'll send it over.  Luckily they managed to save the music stored on it.  Phew. I do not fancy having to sort that out again!

Pizza

 I think we need to practice a bit more.  The first couple were a little crusty round the edge and I had to rotate them a fair few times during the bake but the last lot came out well.  I think it needs a longer warm up of the stone base before shoving them in.

MRI done

 I was in the scanner for nearly 30 mins in the end.  Bloody boring.  They give you headphones and you can choose a radio station but with all the buzzing going on I couldn't hear it.  Should get results in 3-5 days.

Flo has down 21 park runs

 That's a full marathon so she won a free wristband!  Well done Flo!
