I don't get it

I've just bought a bottle of diet coke and it has Dave on it. I've seen a couple of adverts about sharing a drink with friends but what's the point. I know a couple of Daves but nine in the city. The guy next to me is called Konstantinos. I don't think there is enough room on the bottle for that.

This is the first ever gig I ever went to. Me, Goofers, Ian and Brucey Bonus. I was 15, yes, that's 18 years ago! Jeez, I'm old.

April's allowed me to choose a piece of art / poster to go up in the new kitchen.  She gave me free reign (with April veto).  That's my Iron Maiden Eddie poster dream dead...

Just bought myself a nice new umbrella. I wonder how long it'll take for me to lose it.

Man time

April's gone to bed, I'm still out polishing off the wine and having a beer or two.

Thinking about lots of things...

Beer (should I have another?)
Cats (bloody cats)
Work (really fed up with work, annoyed about not getting that role. Argh! There's lots of interest in me and what I can do but the big question is do I want to do it? What do I want to do?)
Fire (I love fire)
Football manager (just won the league, league cup and Euro cup with Liverpool, who should I buy? The Dortmund striker legsomething has agreed to join for £44m, but is that where I should spend my money?)

The fun you can have with fire

And a little wine. It's about the second time w've used this thing and we really like it.

Last time was for our Olympics party. If I remember correctly I was up till 3 in the morning with Shaz setting fire to anything we could find.

The best part was squirting the lighter gel directly on the flame! Not recommended for non professionals...

Lazing around

My two cats sunning themselves on a lazy afternoon. I've bought some fire word and fire lighter for the wood burner too. I think we may have another bbq today.

Whatever next?

One of our local pizza delivery places now sells a different type of stuffed crust. Yuk!

First barbeque of the year

There's a little bit of sun out there today so thought we should unleash the bbq. Still cold though.
